Available for new work

I build software that businesses own outright.

Sometimes that means building a product from nothing and getting it onto the App Store. Sometimes it means lifting a shop off Shopify, or a barber’s diary off Booksy. Either way you get the site your customers see and the system your staff run the business on, and you own it at the end.

  • Yours, not rented

No monthly fee to somebody else just so you can run your own business.

  • Plain English, no jargon

You don’t need to understand the technical side. That’s my job, not yours.

  • One person, start to finish

The person you talk to is the person designing it and building it.

  • Never left in the dark

Ask me anything, as often as you like. You’ll always know where your project is.

What I do

Five kinds of work. One person doing all of it.

Some people need a product built from nothing. Some need their whole shop and the system behind it. Some just want a good website. Working out which one you need is part of the job, and it’s usually not the one you came in asking for.

Everything each one includes
01

Software products

A real product, designed, built and shipped. Not a prototype that still needs a team to finish it off.

02

Retail, front and back office

The shop your customers see, and the system your staff actually run the business on. Off Shopify, off WooCommerce, onto something that’s yours.

03

Brand, social and email

The strategy, the look, the posts, the newsletters. Done properly, then handed over so it keeps running when I’m not in the room.

04

Booking systems

Tables, appointments, classes. Taken on your own site and built around the way you work, rather than rented back to you every month.

05

Websites, plain and done properly

Plenty of businesses don’t need a system behind it. A cafe or a restaurant might just want a fast, good looking site with the menu, the hours and how to find you. That’s a proper job on its own. You can always add bookings later.

06

Automations and agents

The jobs that quietly eat a week. Chasing the quote nobody answered, tidying the orders, writing the same Monday report. Built as an agentic flow that gets on with it and only asks you when something genuinely needs a person. The agentic value is simple enough to measure: the hours it hands back.

Selected work

Five projects, five different stages.

Four of them are live and out in public. The rest are still in progress, and each one tells you which. Nothing here is dressed up as finished when it isn’t.

Master the Curriculum

A primary maths resource business with 6,558 products, taken off WordPress and WooCommerce onto a site and a back office of its own.

The catalogue, the editor and the email are in the team’s own hands, and nothing on that site needs me to change a price or add a resource.

Timz Trimz

A barber taken off Booksy and onto their own booking site and app, so the bookings, the customers and the monthly fee are all theirs.

The diary, the takings and the customer list all sit on the same screen the bookings come into, and none of it needs a spreadsheet.

Charge Up Installations

An EV charger, solar and battery installer getting a site customers book through, an office system that quotes and allocates the work, and an app the engineers run the job from.

The quote, the job, the engineer and the paperwork end up as one thread rather than an inbox, a spreadsheet and a folder of photos.

How I work

One person, the whole thing.

Strategy, brand, design, the build, the back office, the launch. Nothing gets dropped between a designer, a developer and an account manager, because there’s nobody to drop it to.

The rest of how I work

No jargon, and no making you feel stupid

Most of the people I work with don’t do this for a living, and there’s no reason they should. You won’t get a document full of terms you have to go and look up, and you’ll never be made to feel like you should already know something. I explain it in normal words, as many times as it takes.

You own what I build

Every project here takes a business off a platform it was renting and puts it on one it owns. No monthly fee for the privilege of taking your own bookings or listing your own stock.

Built in weeks, not quarters

An agency would treat a catalogue of six and a half thousand products as a project with a team on it and a timeline to match. I take that on by myself. The work on this site is the evidence, so you don’t have to take my word for it.

Not sure which one you need?

That’s usually the first thing worth working out, and it costs you nothing to ask. Tell me what you’re running on and I’ll tell you what I’d do.

Working together

Built, hosted, and looked after.

Every job’s different, so I price against the real work rather than reading off a menu. And whatever we agree, you own what I build at the end of it.

How each of these works
  • Hosted and looked after
  • Billed whichever way suits you
  • A project, or an hourly rate
  • Or kept on retainer
