Live Watch Stock
A search app for watch dealers, built from nothing and shipped to the App Store. It turns a wall of WhatsApp messages into stock you can actually search.

Live Watch Stock
One product, built once, on every device a dealer picks up in a day.
The problem
The stock existed. Finding it didn’t.
Watch dealers trade in WhatsApp groups. Dozens of them, thousands of messages a day, all of it a wall of text.
If a customer asked for a particular reference, the only way to answer was to scroll. Group after group, hoping you’d spot it in somebody’s post from three hours ago. Dealers were losing deals on watches that were sitting right there in the chat. All the information existed. You just couldn’t search it.
What I did
Built the product, then shipped it.
I designed and built a search app that reads those groups and turns every post into a structured listing: reference, brand, condition, year, price. Once the stock is structured, the rest follows. You search it. You save a search and get told the moment something matching it turns up. The scrolling stops.
Nobody else finished this off for me. I took it from an idea to a product on the App Store and I still run it. Every customer gets their own hosted instance and I look after the fleet.

What sits behind it
Described rather than shown. The mechanism is the product, so it’s not something I put on a website.
- Live capture from dealer groups, continuously
- Structured extraction of reference, brand, price, year and condition
- Full text and reference search across everything captured
- Saved searches with alerts when new stock matches
- Historical search back over previous days and weeks
- Noise filtering, so the feed stays stock and not chatter
- Per customer isolation, one hosted instance each
- Monitoring and self healing across the whole fleet
What changed
Scrolling became searching.
It’s live, it’s public and people pay for it. A dealer who used to scroll through a dozen groups types a reference and gets an answer, then gets told automatically when the next one appears instead of going looking for it.
It’s the one project here that has been through the whole cycle: built, launched, sold, kept running in production. That’s why it leads.
Go and have a look at livewatchstock.com and download it from there, rather than taking my word for any of this.
